Last night, we had one of our (very rare) snowfalls here in northeast Georgia.

The students responded with enthusiasm and gusto, but the actual amount of accumulation (1" or so) left something to be desired.

Nevertheless, we were treated to some beautiful scenes we seldom get to see.

In other news, I was at a party earlier this week, and the (5?ish-year-old) son of a friend of mine snuck up behind me and stuck a Butterfinger candy bar in my coat pocket. That's awesome! When I get a son, I need to train him to do that.

Hey! Great pictures! Today as I drove by the construction site for the jail I saw the workmen had made a snowman and put a yellow hardhat on him and a couple of pieces of 1x4 for arms. Get ready we are suppose to get some more tonight!
