Well, the semester's over (for the time being, at least). Things got a little hairy there towards the end -- taking two classes on the side for graduate credit while teaching a full load didn't leave me much time for reflection and writing.
Two interesting tidbits for the last half of the semester:
During Spirit Week (the dress-up-for-fun week here on campus), two of my students dressed up as Ethel Mertz and Lucy Ricardo (from the TV show I Love Lucy):
Lots of fun!
And, from the "I-Can't-Believe-Bureaucracy-is-This-Bad" Department, I received a listing of my official student enrollment in my campus mailbox recently -- for a class I had two years ago.
Now that my semester's done, I'm attempting to read Wuthering Heights and the Divine Comedy this Christmas. (I'm calling it the Bronte-Dante Double Play.)
